Terms and Conditions
1. Service Overview
Wheelie Fresh & Clean provides a residential wheelie bin cleaning service on a scheduled rota basis. By signing up to our service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Service Availability & Pricing
All services are subject to availability and may be amended, updated, or withdrawn at any time.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel service at our discretion, including but not limited to:
- unsafe working conditions
- repeated access issues
- non-payment
- inappropriate or abusive behaviour
Prices are based on standard bin conditions and access. Where bins are excessively soiled, contain loose waste, or access is restricted, we reserve the right to decline the clean or apply additional charges, which will be communicated where possible.
3. Service Schedule
Our service operates on a four-week cleaning cycle, aligned with your local council bin collection day.
- Bins are cleaned on the same day as collection, after being emptied
- Each bin is cleaned once every four weeks
- Service areas are divided into Purple and Green rounds
We reserve the right to adjust routes and schedules where necessary.
4. Access to Bins
Customers must ensure that:
- Bins are left out and accessible after collection
- Bins are empty prior to cleaning
- Access is safe and unobstructed
If bins are not accessible or not emptied, the clean may not be carried out.
5. Missed Cleans
If we are unable to clean your bin due to:
- the bin not being left out
- the bin not being emptied
- restricted access
The clean will be skipped and carried out during the next scheduled cycle. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
6. Weather & Operational Delays
We are not liable for missed or delayed cleans caused by circumstances outside our control, including:
- extreme weather
- council collection changes
- access restrictions
Where possible, we will reschedule services.
7. Payment Terms
- Our standard service is £15 per month (launch offer) / £18 thereafter
- Payments are collected automatically on a recurring basis
- By signing up, you authorise us to take payments for your service
Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of service.
8. Contract Term & Cancellation
- The service includes a minimum 12-month term
- After this period, it continues on a rolling monthly basis
- Cancellation requires 1 month's notice
- Notice must be provided in writing
If cancellation occurs within the minimum term, we reserve the right to recalculate services at a one-off rate where applicable.
9. Cleaning Process
We use specialist equipment to wash, sanitise, and deodorise bins.
While we aim for the best possible results, some staining may remain depending on the condition of the bin.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wheelie Fresh & Clean is not liable for:
- pre-existing bin damage
- missed cleans outside our control
- indirect or consequential loss
Any liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
11. Customer Responsibility
Customers agree to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information
- inform us of changes to collection days or access
- ensure bins are suitable for cleaning
Failure to do so may affect service delivery.
12. Communication
By providing your contact details, you agree to receive:
- service updates
- reminders
- operational communications
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
13. Data Protection
All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your information is used solely for service delivery, communication, and operational purposes.
14. Refund Policy
Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16. Acceptance
By signing up, booking, or using our service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
